Chiropractor in Harbor Village
The canal-front streets of Lighthouse Point and the practice three minutes away that has treated them for three decades.
Harbor Village is one of Lighthouse Point's established waterfront neighborhoods, homes on the canals that thread through the city to the Intracoastal, with a boat on a lift behind most of them and a mix of long-time South Florida residents and newer families who bought in for the water and the schools.
For three decades this office, three minutes away on Federal Highway, has been where Harbor Village comes when a back goes out unloading the boat, a shoulder will not settle after a season of casting, or a knee has started to complain on the dock steps. It is also where the neighborhood's working parents come with the neck and back of the I-95 commute, and where their children come after a fall off a bike or a hard tackle.
What we treat most for Harbor Village
- Back strain and disc injury from lifting and bracing on the water, treated with adjustments or spinal decompression.
- Shoulder pain from casting, lines and lifting, treated in the Shoulder Restoration Program.
- Knee arthritis aggravated by dock steps and lifts, evaluated for the Knee Restoration Program.
- Commuter neck pain and headaches in working parents.
- Children's sprains and strains, examined gently with a parent present.

Questions from Harbor Village
Can a Harbor Village neighbor be seen the same day?
Often, yes. Appointments are required so no one waits, but three minutes away means the office can usually fit you in the same day or the next. Call (954) 902-6371 on your way.
My shoulder has hurt all season from casting. Will I need surgery?
Probably not. Most shoulders that plateau with rest have tendinopathy, impingement or, after fifty, frozen shoulder or calcific tendinitis, all of which respond to Class IV laser, shockwave and targeted care. The exam identifies the minority with a full tear who need a surgeon.
Do you offer massage?
Yes. Licensed massage therapy with Dawn Marie Teufel, LMT, is available in the office, with dedicated massage appointments on Thursdays. It is a separate service from chiropractic care.
What hours work for a commuting parent?
Appointment hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 am to noon and 2:00 to 6:00 pm, and Tuesday 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Being three minutes away, the 8:00 am and 5:30 pm slots fit around most schedules.
