Chiropractor Near The Cove

The Cove is Deerfield Beach's waterfront neighborhood, the streets along the Intracoastal Waterway east of Federal Highway where homes back onto docks, the Cove Shopping Center anchors the corner at Hillsboro Boulevard, and a good share of the residents are seasonal, here from November to April and gone by May. This office is eight minutes south on Federal Highway, and The Cove has sent it boating backs, casting shoulders and beach-walking knees for three decades. I am in The Cove from November to April. Can I finish a program in that time?

Yes. The knee, spinal and shoulder programs are scheduled over several weeks and a season is more than enough. Dr. McNamara sends a summary of your care to your physician at home so nothing is lost when you leave.

Do you treat boating injuries?

Constantly. Low back strain from lifting over the gunwale, shoulder overuse from casting and lines, and neck pain from a rough day offshore are routine here. Treatment is non-surgical and patients leave with a plan for how to lift and brace so it does not recur.

My knees ache after the morning beach walk. Is that arthritis?

Often, especially after sixty, but the exam checks the kneecap, the meniscus and the feet as well, because soft sand and pavers load all three. Arthritic knees do well in the Knee Restoration Program; foot mechanics are corrected with custom orthotics fitted from an in-office scan.

Is the drive really eight minutes?

Outside of season, yes: Federal Highway south from Hillsboro Boulevard with no turns. In season allow ten to twelve. The office sits between Copans Road and Sample Road.
