Chiropractor Near Century Village
Hillsboro Boulevard east and fifteen minutes to a level entrance, parking at the door and a doctor who explains what she finds.
Century Village Deerfield Beach is one of the largest 55-and-over communities in Florida, thousands of condominium units on the west side of the city with its own clubhouse, pools, theater and bus system. Its residents are careful, well-informed and used to being talked down to by doctors. This office does not do that.
No community sends more knee and spine patients here than Century Village, and the story is consistent: a resident in their seventies or eighties with an arthritic knee or a stenotic spine, an X-ray or MRI, a surgeon who has mentioned replacement or injections, and a strong preference for neither. The Knee Restoration Program and the Spinal Decompression Program are the non-surgical alternatives, gentle enough for an eighty-year-old, fifteen minutes east on Hillsboro Boulevard.
What we treat most for Century Village
- Knee osteoarthritis: Knee-on-Trac decompression and Class IV laser in the Knee Restoration Program, with an honest answer about candidacy from your X-ray.
- Lumbar stenosis and degenerative discs shortening the walk to the clubhouse, evaluated for the Spinal Decompression Program.
- Frozen shoulder and rotator cuff wear, common after sixty, treated in the Shoulder Restoration Program.
- Balance, gait and fall prevention with gentle adjustments and custom orthotics.
- Whiplash after collisions on Hillsboro Boulevard and Powerline Road, treated gently and billed to Florida PIP.

Questions from Century Village
I no longer drive. How do Century Village residents get to you?
Most come with a family member, a neighbor or a ride service; some arrange a car through the Village. The office is scheduled so you are seen promptly on arrival, the entrance is level with parking immediately outside, and the restroom is wheelchair accessible.
Is any of this covered by Medicare?
Medicare covers chiropractic spinal adjustments. Knee-on-Trac, spinal decompression and laser therapy are not covered by Medicare and are cash-pay; the office quotes the full program cost in writing after the evaluation so there are no surprises. Call (954) 902-6371 for details.
Is spinal decompression too aggressive for someone with stenosis at eighty?
The Antalgic-Trac applies gentle, computer-controlled distraction and is used routinely with patients in their eighties. Severe osteoporosis, fracture and instability are screened for first, and Dr. McNamara tells you plainly if you are not a candidate.
Will I be pressured to buy a package?
No. After the first exam you get a straight answer on the expected course of care and its cost, in writing. If a program is not likely to help your knee or spine, you are told that and referred. Nothing is sold on the first visit.
